Guillaume rents a houseboat with his wife Dominique and “his” mistress, Martine. At night, Guillaume tells them stories to make them fall asleep. On their vacation cruise along a canal, they meet several characters they “have fun” with each time – the woman guarding the hatches, a girl on a bicycle who dives into the canal while waving at them, a girl who hitchhikes off a bridge, and a girl who appears to be a nun, until her black stockings and suspenders are revealed. In the end, Martine brings M. Léon on board and the film ends with an orgy.
